Wherever I May Roam [OPEN]

"Yuck...I hate this bridge..." Tokimae said referring to the sky arrow bridge. "I mean. It's beautiful and all. It's just a long walk." She was on her way to Castelia town. Her parents were good friend of Burgh. Tokimae loved his style and love for bug Pokemon. Burgh was an artist himself; and didn't care what other people thought of him. Burgh had a few fashion ideas and wanted Tokimae to take pictures for him. She let out a sigh, "Well at least it's only two towns over." She said looking to her Manectric, Ethan. "Trikk~!" He didn't mind the walking. Tokimae could just fly, or even ride Fido; but she decided to just try and enjoy the view.

There were plenty of flying Pokemon around for her to take pictures of, but she just wasn't feeling it. This was an off day, but Tokimae wondered if she could maybe meet someone new this time. Castelia City is covered with newcomers. She loved to help them out. Even if she wasn't too familiar with the city herself. It was good to explore. Tokimae never really liked big city's herself, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. She stopped walking to look over the edge of the bridge. She watched as the sun beams danced across the water. She smiled and reached into her bag for two Pokeballs. She then released Talon, her Fearow and Keemi, her Croconaw. They let out a cheery sound at the sight of there trainer.

"You guys go ahead and hang around till we reach Castelia City." She said.

Talon flew straight up into the air. Than began to fall only to be caught by the wind and flew back up. Keemi jumped right of the side of the bridge but it ended up being a failed jump and just kind of tumbled into the water. "Carful there, Keemi." Tokimae chuckled. Keemi's head popped out of the water and she smiled. Tokimae began walking again as her Pokemon followed having there own fun.

When Tokimae reached Castelia City she returned Keemi to her Pokeball but kept Talon out to fly throughout the city. Looking for anyone who needs assistance. She walked down a long street only to see a girl with light grey hair that shined in the sun. She seemed a bit confused. Tokimae wasn't a very shy person so she approached the girl.
"Hello, do you need any help?" Tokimae asked looking into her honey dipped eyes.

Tokimae greeted Nanu who landed on her head. She loved friendly Pokemon, they always bring a smile to her face. It took Tokimae a second to process the words Talindra gave to her. She couldn't decide what she liked better; Tally or Tal. "Oh it's not a problem at all, I love to talk to people! Rambling is accepted." She began. "We can stop by a market for you to stock up on supplies and I can show you around the town. I have an appointment at 8." She paused. "I'm a Pokemon Photographer. I live on route three. I'm here to help out the gym leader, Burgh. I just wanted to hang around a bit before. It's a huge town, lots of things to do." She giggled. "Did you say Goldenrod? From Johto? That's awesome. I've always wanted to visit other places, maybe when I'm older. And actually have someone to go with me. Well, Tally, correct? Come this way and I'll show you to the shop." Tokimae motioned for Tally to follower her.

Tokimae smiled. "You're welcome and I'm glad. Yeah, there's always people coming in and out of this town. It can get a little crazy. Busy towns make me nervous; I never know what to do. Hehe." Tokimae searched for Ethan and found him slowly following behind. She frowned. Normally he's more friendly to new Pokemon. What's his problem? She kept walking listening to the girl.

"Haha, yep. It's a fabulous job. I get to do what I love, and I get paid for it. Writing is pretty nice. Sadly, I never got into it." She looked down at her feet. "Ruins and myths? That's amazing. Oh yeah? That's a pretty big goal to visit them all." Tokimae paused to think of Unova's ruins. "If you're looking for runis there's one east of Unova. It's called the Abyssal ruins. I've never been but from what I've heard it's really nice. The catch is..." She paused for dramatic effect and then smiled. "you have to go underwater to visit it. There's also an underground ruin somewhere in Unova... Also, I can't wait to travel. It's for sure on my bucket list."

Tokimae began to laugh. "Well, it is an accomplishment in my book, but it wasn't that hard to get. Burgh has been a family friend for years. He's been around a lot and he's a close friend of my parents. Burgh used to tell me all sorts of stories about Pokemon when I was a little girl." Tokimae tried to remember some of the stories and tales he'd tell but they seamed to escape from her memory. This was a new one...

"I'm not sure how the gym system works in other regions. I thought they were all the same. Basically we've got eight leaders; eight badges to collect. Once you've won all eight you can move on to fight the elite four. Beat them then you're moving on to the Champion, and man is he strong. Beat the Champion, you're a legend. I've never battled a gym leader. Even though I've been surrounded by them my whole life." This shocked Tokimae, she's never thought about it.

"Big jobs come and go. The gym leaders are very friendly to other people and even though they're famous; they want to be treated like they're no big deal. You know what I mean?" She tried to find her words. "I'm friends with a hand full of the leaders. Occasionaly they'll ask me for a shoot. I'm pretty much up for anything. As long as I have my camera," Tokimae gripped her camera bag and held it up. "my Pokemon, and friends than I'm good to go!"

"I'm sorry, I talk a lot too." She giggled as they finally came to the PokeCenter. "Here we are. In this building you can have Nurse Joy heal your Pokemon while you by things." Before they walked in Tokimae stopped walking and called for Talon to come down. The space was clear so that Talon could land with ease. Tokimae looked at Ethan and motioned for him to jump onto Talon's back. "Stay with Talon okay?" She asked. He nodded and jumped onto her back then layed down. Talon took off. She turned her attention back to Tally.

Tokimae followed in and listened; pondering with her own thoughts before answering all these questions as they stood in the Pokemon Center. She watched her hand over her Pokemon to the kind faced Nurse Joy. "Hmm, well I know of one museum in Unova. It's located in Nacrene City, not to far from here. I actually have a friend that works there that should know a lot about Ruins, artifacts, and old stuff." she giggled. She hasn't visited Yumi in a long time.

"I also recommend talking to the Pokemon Professor in this region too. Her name's Juniper. You can learn about all the Pokemon you could find in on your journey. Wow, that's a lot of badges. I've actually met Professor Oak once! He's quite the character. He was here to visit Professor Juniper for something about a legendary Pokemon. It wasn't really much of my business so I just let the subject be after I met him. But other than that, I'm not sure. I know of a research lab on Route 6; but I think that's for a Pokemon called a Deerling...I can help you find out where you could go. I mean I know a few tips. I know that you're going to need a water Pokemon that knows dive. And have diving equipment..."

"Oh right. A PokeMart." She began to laugh. "Here in Unova the PokeMart and Pokemon Center are in the same building." She pointed over to a corner of the room where there was a some what attractive guy standing at the counter spacing out. "That's where you can buy the things you need. If you need anything rare than we might have to find a market in a different town." Tokimae caught that she said 'we'...She didn't mean to say she'd be tagging along. Only if Tally wanted her to, she didn't correct her self to avoid awkwardness.

{OOC: I have to write this all again. DAMN YOU GOOGLE CROME. *cries more*}

Tokimae laughed, "You'd be surprised what they have." She watched as she gave the list to the clerk and he gathered the items up when her phone started to ring. "Oh, one second."

"Hello darling! I'm so sorry but I think I will have to cancel our appointment. I just had a ton of trainers check in that they needed to battle me tonight." apologized Burgh.
"Oh no, it's fine!" Tokimae said.
"Are you sure, I'm sorry to make you come all the way here then have to cancel." he said.
"No really, it's fine. Don't be to hard on those trainers." she giggled.
"Alright miss. I'll call you soon!"
He hung up and Tokimae placed her phone back into her bag.

She went back to Tally to continue the conversation. "Oh yeah, I'm sure the museum will need plenty of fossils. There's also many caves scattered across Unova." Tokimae said following Tally and watched as she packed her bag.

"It's not a problem at all! Deerling isn't much of a legendary Pokemon. I guess you could call it rare It's a seasonal one. Deerling's will change the color of there coat according to the season." She paused. "My Croconaw knows Dive as well. And I believe my parents have diving equipment back at their home that we could use. Oh, I'm not sure where you can buy berries, but I have tons at home. I grow berries because my Pokemon are picky eaters too! I might have what you need."

"Oh, you're fine. Haha, besides. I don't mind tagging along with you! This gives me a chance to get shots of Pokemon that I don't have scattered across Unova. And sadly, Burgh had to cancel. He has a group of trainers he needs to battle. So as long as it's cool with you, we could travel together." She smiled.

"Heh...Yeah. My mom used to be a diver. She's got a lot of water type Pokemon so she'd train underwater." Tokimae sighed. She than giggled. "That's nice that she'd take care of your stuff while you're away. You can take as many berries as you need. That sounds pretty awesome. I'm sure my Pokemon would love that!" she laughed.

"Well, I've never been all through the region. So we might get a little lost...But Fido, My Arcanine is good with directions! So he should get us to the place we need. Plus I've got Talon, who could look at the surroundings from above." her face lit up at the idea.

"Don't worry about Burgh, they've been doing this most of there life. They're used to it." she paused. "Is she really? Haha, I've got a Pokemon the same way. Say, why don't we go outside and introduce our teams?" she asked. "And I know how you feel." She watched as Tally received her Pokemon from Nurse Joy.

Tokimae waited until she was finished to speak up. "Oh don't worry, I was thinking we should let them out when we reach the Skyarrow bridge that connects Castelia City to Nacrene City. On the way over here my Croconaw swam through the water so I'm pretty sure your Lapras will be fine! Plus our Pokemon won't be overwhelmed by crowds of people." She smiled and began to exit the Pokemon center.

"I don't mind leading the way! I'm familiar with the rest of this area. When we reach Nacrene City we can stop by the museum if they're open. My friend Yumi might not be working today, but that's fine because we need to ask the owner what fossils we should be looking for." Tokimae held the door open for a group of people walking in.

"I'm pretty sure we've got about five or six bridges. Here, I can show you a map of Unova!" Tokimae reached into her side bag and pulled out a folded piece of paper. She then pointed out each bridge. She handed it to Tally to look at and give back when she was done. "That city sounds awesome."

"Yumi?" she paused. "She does a far amount of research. It's her hobby and her job." she giggled. "How did we meet? Well let me think. She's practically my sister. She grew up with me on Route 3. We've started to grow apart seeing she lives in Nacrene. But we still try to stay best friends. Takes the effort of two." She began to walk.

Tokimae laughed. "Nanu is fine." She said, she appreciated that the Swablu liked her enough to clean her hair. She listened to her speak. "I've always wondered what it would be like to have brothers or sisters also. Yumi was the closest thing.And that is sweet of him to help you out. " Tokimae nodded while she pointed out locations. Tokimae laughed at her reaction. "Yep, the long-never ending bridge!" she joked. "Just kidding, we're not to far Nacrene. When we reach the city we can stop by the Museum! Now, how about we intoduce our Pokemon." Tokimae suggested as they reached the empty bridge, normally there would be more people, but they come and go.

She watched as she released and explained each of her Pokemon. She said hello to each and every Pokemon she introduced. "Wow, you've got a nice team!" she said petting Hasina. "Guess it's my go." she said. Tokimae looked to the sky and whistled. Then came Talon, her Fearow. She landed quickly next to her trainer. "Well, this is Talon, you saw her earlier. Then on the back is Ethan." Ethan jumped off of Talon's back and smiled at the other Pokemon. He went to go greet Osiris. "Be careful there Ethan, if he starts to headbutt you dodge alright?" she asked. Ethan nodded. He approached the Pokemon being as careful as possible. "Trikk." he said hello to the Craniodos.

Tokimae moved on explaining the rest of her team. She reached for a Pokeball in her bag and released the creature inside. Out came Keemi, her Croconaw. "Here is Keemi." The Pokemon waved to Tally and then jumped over the edge falling, again into the water. Tokimae sighed. "She's quite the character." Keemi greeted the Lapras and swam around her.

Toki grapped another ball and out came her Arcanine, Fido. He ran up to Toki and licked her face. "Good boy. This is Fido." She said to Tally. Fido lowered his head at the girl. She grabbed another Pokeball and out came George her Krookodile. "Well here's the big and strong George." Tokimae giggled. George was one of the sweetest Krookodile she's ever met, probably because SHE raised him. He cheered at the excitement and extended his arm to Tally to shake.

"I just recently got a new addition to my team." Tokimae begin releasing a Chikorita. "This is Hana. I noticed you had a Bayleef, maybe they could be good friends." She suggested. Hana ran over to Tokimae's leg and wrapped her vine's around her, hugging her in a way. Tokimae giggled. "Hey, Hana. Go say hello to the other Pokemon." Toki said. She released Tokimae and looked around at all the Pokemon. She then saw Hasina and was amazed. She went over to her and lifted up her paw to wave hello.

Ethan observed Osiris and then stuck out his paw to shake his. Fido beamed with joy at the compliment he got from Tally. Talon looked to Tokimae for approval. "You go girl." she said. Talon wasn't to big an all of the moves but she did enjoy flying with a friend. She twirled up and waited to follow Emmelin's lead. Tokimae laughed at the reaction Tally gave for George. "Krookodiles are part ground and dark type. They're very violent Pokemon, they try to clamp down on anything that moves in front of their eyes. I wanted my Pokemon to be a little nice than that so he's pretty sweet. But when it comes to battling he won't give up without giving his all." Tokimae explained. Hana was overjoyed by the Bayleaf and then tried to copy her action. Standing straight up and buffing out her chest. Hana accepted the nuzzle. "Chikk...?" she asked if she could get onto Hasina's back. She wanted to see what it was like at that height. Tokimae giggled at the interaction between the two Pokemon and turned her attention back to Tally. "At the end of this bridge is Pinwheel Forest. Once we pass that do you possible want to have a battle? Your first battle in Unova. Plus I always like to get to know what my friends are capable of when they show off they're Pokemon, it's almost like an art." Tokimae giggled
