Two short horn blasts pierced the dimly lit cabin, rousing its occupant roughly from her sleep. The gentle sway of the hammock had put her at ease when she had first descended below decks, and she was sorry to have to say goodbye. It had been the first 'real' bed she had slept in for weeks. Giving a tired groan, she rolled out of the hammock. An accompanying trill followed her as her Swablu quickly resumed her usual perch on top of her head. Laughing, Talindra stretched, her joints popping as she did so. Walking to the small bathroom area, she gave herself a once over, fixing her hair around the nesting Nanu.
"That should be good enough. Not like anyone hear knows who I am, right Nanu?" The slim girl mumbled, a small smile playing on her lips as Nanu replied with a trill. With another stretch, she walked around the room grabbing stuff and adding it to the large backpack. Confident that she had placed all of her items in the bag, she hefted it onto her back and secured the straps before exiting her room for the past week.
Tally dodged all of the bulky Sailors, and eventually made it to the stern. The approaching city loomed in the distance, drawing nearer. A frown replaced the small smile; she always hated large cities. Moreover, by the looks of it, Castelia was nothing but suffocating concrete. However, the flying Pelipper in the breeze put her at ease. She sighed, and shook her head. She would just have to deal with it until she resupplied. To keep her mind off the approaching city, she released Emmelin the Pidgeot from her Pokeball. The Pokémon landed on the rail, looking keenly at Talindra for instructions.
"I figured you would love to stretch your wings, old friend. Go have fun!" It was all the instruction Emmelin needed, as she took off from the boat, doing aerial maneuvers in the sky. Talindra wasted the rest of her time on the boat this way, watching Emmelin fly and speaking softly to Nanu.
In due course, the boat began preparing to dock, and Talindra called Emmelin back to her Pokeball. She stayed out of the way until the boat had let down its anchor, before she disembarked. A few minutes acquired her the use of her land legs once more, and with casual strides she headed towards the city. She stopped as she reached the main thoroughfare, frowning at all of the bustling people. A finger found its way to her lips, as she looked at all the different paths she could take, completely lost.
"Well. Not even 5 minutes on shore and I'm hopelessly lost." A soft laugh was given at her own expense, as she studied her surroundings trying to find some indication of where to go.
